At breakfast

Liam: “Look, Mommy, I’ve got my finger in the loop!” He had stuck his finger through a loop in the restraining strap (ha!) on his booster seat at the table.

Me: “Wow.”

Liam: “Mommy, why is the loop not moving?”

Me: “I don’t know; why do you think it isn’t moving?”

Liam: “Maybe it is the nature of its existence.”
