Ngaire: Our firstborn, a.k.a. the Squid or Boo Bear. My old bio page identified her as loving books and cheese. This has not changed.

Liam: The middle child. Cheerful and mischievous. Prenatal name: the Remora. A.k.a. Boo Bug. Loves Lightning McQueen.

Rhiannon: The newborn. Loves cuddles. Dispenses ravening-horde-soothing smiles. Formerly known as the Ctenophore. Some might argue that the name “Rhiannon” is no less bizarre. Also answers to Boo Bat.

The place: The Frozen North.
